Lifting plate designed to be cut out of ½ mild steel
spreader bar plates are designed for ¼ mild steel.
weld tube in between the spreader bar eyes about
3 feet long. Use grade 70 or better chain to attach
lifting plate to material.
Cutting Examples
These are designed to be used as reference pieces for you
and your customers. The CAD file is set to true values. Cut
this piece in all of your materials. Then use calipers to
measure the holes to give you cut dimensions. Now you
can accurately off set drawings to compensate for any
variance so you can have holes that accurately fit. You
can also use these to show customers your ability as well
as give them an idea what the different metal gauges are
actually like.
Cutting slat cleaners
These are designed to be cut and welded up out of ¼
or 1/8 steel plate. Then welded / mounted to a pole
to allow you to clean the slag off your cutting slats.
there are two different designs here. Both will need
to have slight bends put in them to work properly.
Welding tank hook storage
these are designed to be cut out of ¼ steel plate
and then welded up. They work best on standard
welding cylinders but can also work on scuba tanks
and other cylinders.
